CHVL 2008 Election/Candidate Information

CHVL has two types of information about candidates for this year's general election.

• The Ballot Buddy is a brief PDF form that you can print and use as a reference when you fill out your ballot. There is a Ballot Buddy for each of the seven congressional districts in Colorado. For each race that CHVL tracked that is within, or partially within, that congressional district’s boundaries, the Ballot Buddy identifies "Pro-Animal Picks" and "Paws Down" candidates and provides questionnaire and voting scores that we have for any candidates.
• There is an election summary page for each race that CHVL tracks. This page contains candidate questionnaire scores, links to candidate questionnaire responses, explanations of any "Pro-Animal Picks" and "Paws Down" ratings for the race, and any other highlights about that race.

Election Summary Pages
For federal offices, "USS" stands for United States Senate" and "CD" stands for "Congressional District"; e.g., "CD7" is Congressional District 7. For state offices, "SSD" stands for "state Senate District" and "SHD" stands for "state House District"; e.g., "SSD31" is state Senate District 31, and "SHD07" is state House District 7. So, for example, a candidate for SHD13 is running for state representative for state House District 13.
